About the Event
This 2 day event, located in the centre of Sai Kung, will be the second largest toy sale the Little Philanthropists have had to date with over 5,000 new, name brand toys donated by our sponsors! By request of Singalings, our generous host for the event, all proceeds will go to Catherine's Puppies and ImpactHK.
All toys will be sold at a fraction of their retail value, with most priced under $50. Yes, you read that correctly! We have toys from bikes and scooters to dolls and your favorite disney plush. This is an event you truly cannot miss!
As mentioned, Singalings our local favorite restaurant, as been kind enough to offer up some space to host the event. We will have most of the toys upstairs and some will be located just outside the dining area.
Due to the restrictions put forth because of Covid-19, this will be a ticketed event. Entries will be regulated and its first come first serve, Entry tickets at the door are $300 and again valid for 3 toys. We suggest you purchace entry tickets in advance to avoid long queues and for ease of shopping. We will however also have tickets for sale at the event if you wish to purchase more than originally anticipated.
While you are waiting, you can enjoy some festive drinks, learn more about Catherine's Puppies and ImpactHK and soak up all of the positive vibes.
About our Beneficiaries:
Catherine's Puppies- Catherine's Puppies was founded by Catherine Lumsden in February 2015. They are focused on rescuing dogs and providing them with the best possible care until they are homed. They have a small shelter in Ho Chung, Sai Kung, which is mainly free roaming for the dogs.
Catherine's Puppies are entirely funded by donations, with no government funding. They are also very reliant upon their amazing volunteers, so if you'd like to come by and spend time with their dogs and pups, they would love to have you!
ImpactHK- ImpactHK is a non-profit that provides the homeless in Hong Kong with friendship, food, shelter, education and employment opportunities. Their journey started with the simple aim of doing one act of kindness per month for the homeless. They have grown significantly since then and many volunteers have joined in their journey to support the less fortunate in a meaningful and measurable way. They have evolved into a powerful humanitarian movement with the opportunity to make a positive impact on the plight of the homeless in Hong Kong.
Following the event, we will be sending the remaining toys unsold to the Boys and Girls Club Association of Hong Kong to supoort the underprivlidged families in our community. If you have toys you would wish to donate, we will have a drop box on site and can arrange to send them at the same time.
